《寄生/声》是Zafka在2013年开始的“日常生活炼金术：声响想像，声响写作与自我重拾”计划的第一个项目。Zafka邀请他的朋友小老虎J-fever，在2103年3月6日到2013年4月6日的一个月时间里，各自使用Spy Voice，一款可以快捷录音的手机App，在每天的日常生活中即兴录取若干声响片段，并上传到各自的Tumblr网页。每天双方相互聆听对方上传的录音片段，并基于对方录音，转换为对方角色，以第一人称进行即兴的声响写作，重建录音片段所呈现的日常生活世界，并将文本上传到对方Tumblr网页，供对方阅读。
在一个月的录音和写作完成后，双方诵读对方撰写的文本，并做录音。作为这个作品的最后一部分，双方基于录音，写作和诵读，合作完成一次声响剧场的现场表演。整个作品，意在通过日常手机田野录音，即兴声响写作，诵读写作文本和声响剧场表演，不断反思和关照自我，想象和重建个体的日常生活世界。

《Parasitic Life/Sound》is the first work from Zafka’s project called “Everyday Life Alchemy: Sound Imagination, Sound Writing and Self-Revision” begun since 2013. The objective of the entire work is to constantly self-reflect, self-revise, re-imagine and rebuild the individual’s daily life world, through everyday smartphone sound recording, improvisational sound writing, reciting of the sound writing text, and sound theatre live performance.
Zafka has invited his friend, renowned freestyle MC J-Fever to collaborate in this work. From 6th March 2103 to 6th April 2013, Zafka and J-Fever recorded sound clips from their individual daily lives via a smartphone app called ‘Spy Voice’. The app makes a recording of the external sounds captured, through a single click. This app function enabled the artists’ recordings to be spontaneous within daily life. The day’s sound clip was then uploaded to each artist’s individual Tumblr page on daily basis. The other artist would then visit their counterpart’s Tumblr page, listen to their new sound clip, and then conduct improvisational sound-writing. The artist would sound-write from the first-person perspective of the original recording artist, interpreting the recorded sound clip as if it were sounds from his own life. The sound-writing text would then be uploaded back to the original Tumblr to be placed alongside the original sound clip, for the original artist to read. As such, the narrative of the daily life that the sound clip originally captured has been reconstructed. After the month-long process of sound recording and cross-sound writing, Zafka and J-Fever then recorded themselves reciting all the re-narrated written text that was posted on their Tumblr. In this exhibition, the work end with a live sound theatre improvisational performance based on the skills learned through the process of sound recording, cross-sound writing, and the reciting.
